Frequently Asked Questions

1. How can I get a refund of failed prints?
Refunds are processed by CougPrints Plus, CUB Ground Floor, and must be requested in person, Monday – Friday, 9:30 am – 5:00 pm.  In order to provide a refund, we will need patron WSU ID, phone number, date, time, location, description of event, and problem prints.
2. How long do I have after uploading to print my files?
CougPrints printers can retrieve print jobs from the server for at least 12 hours after upload.
3. Why doesn’t my card work? (Card Issue)
Only one Cougar Card can be active at a time. If you have a temp card or a damaged card, you will need to visit the Cougar Card Center to have them activate your card. If a card is replaced, the old card is coded as “lost/stolen” and can not access your funds.
4. Why doesn’t my card work? (Active Directory Issue)
If you have a NID change due to a name change, please visit us at CougPrints Plus and we can update your user profile for the self-service system.
5. I have print funds, but the MyPrintCenter website shows a zero balance
If you get a new card, the MyPrintCenter website will not be able to see your current print funds until you begin using the new card. The print funds are only available if you are enrolled full-time as an undergraduate. Printing funds are not available between semesters nor after graduating
